**About the role**

As a Finance Controller at Anglian Dental Engineering, you will be at the helm of our financial operations, IT, and administration. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial data.

You will play an active role in company initiatives, develop and implement financial reporting systems, and manage the company’s cash flow. Your expertise will be crucial in creating monthly and annual financial reports, collaborating with auditing services, and guiding the company towards its financial goals.

Your strategic decisions will be instrumental in maintaining the financial health of the company. As the leader of the finance department, you will set targets and strategic objectives that align with the company’s vision, thereby playing a pivotal role in our growth and success.

**Key responsibilities**
- Ensure the management reporting and analysis is completed by the set deadline.
- Creation of the budget/forecast and production of reports.
- Provide financial analysis of the results such as variance analysis, margin analysis, overhead analysis and comparison against budget/forecast, including rolling 12-month reporting.
- Support directors, managers and budget holders with clear and simple financial reporting, ensuring all directors and managers have a true understanding of their budget and financial position.
- Create clarity and simplicity for the SLT by helping to automate and communicate accurate financial and business information to the relevant people simply and straightforwardly.
- Ensure all legal and tax compliance as well as other financial reporting duties, such as ONS surveys are completed on time.
- Coach and support the finance department team.

**About You**
- Emerging leader with a passion for finance.
- ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and cost accounting.
- Ability to identify urgent and important tasks and prioritise accordingly.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Deep understanding of the company’s industry and market trends.
- Commercially aware and able to confidently explain headline numbers.
- Positive, ‘can do’ attitude.
