SSL are looking to add a Sign Fitter to our growing team. This is a fantastic time to join, as this role will be for work on projects in the East & West of Scotland for our Signage and Printing Division.

The job will include a variety of works for well-known clients within the aviation sector and across the Central Belt.

**Role & Responsibilities**

As A Sign Fitter you will be involved and be a part of the signage team, preparing and installing signage and Livery/wrap projects.

**Required for the role**
- 5 - 10 years’ experience in all types of sign installations from large scale installations to vehicle wrapping and liveries.
- CSCS
- PASMA and IPAF
- Clean Driving Licence
- Friendly and polite towards clients and other staff.
- Can pull together with other departments within the team to meet project deadlines.
- Someone who is passionate about maintaining great client reviews and company reputation.
- Careful and methodical, with good attention to detail.
- Good understanding of the large format print and production processes.
- Able to understand and follow drawings.
- Able to support account managers, overseeing jobs from start to finish.
- Booking jobs onto job production system.
- To ensure that all signage is completed on time, and to a quality standard consistent with the company’s vision.
- Install all types of signage (ie. internal, small, and large external, free standing and affixed to existing structures)
- Install vehicle graphics, including the preparation of the vehicle as necessary.
- Follow all company procedures and SOP's for install of signage and graphics.
- Ensure all Risk Assessments and Method Statements are completed and in place for all installation jobs.
- Make sure Method Statements are followed.
- Take responsibility for your own and others’ health and safety when working.
- Ensure company vehicles are thoroughly and regularly checked, in line with the company’s vehicle policy.
- Flexible with start and finish times/split shifts to enable the company to deliver jobs effectively.
