Experienced Barista

Crumb and Play is a new chic Soft Play with a mini role play village opening very soon at The Heart of the Country, Swinfen Lichfield. We are looking for fun, reliable, and hardworking members to join our team.

You must be enthusiastic about working around children.

Full time and Part time positions available.

Various Hours / Shifts available.

As a small team, we do require everyone to be flexible & help cover other team members holidays. In return we are flexible with what days you can work & invite applicants to specify which shifts & days most suits them.

Job role responsibility will include:

- Welcoming and greeting guests, parents and children & ensure all opening and closing procedures are completed.
- Communicating effectively to all guests, the rules of soft play sessions etc, and enforcing them.
- Operating our booking system and POS system
- Dealing with and resolving guest queries
- Using the coffee machine to serve hot & cold beverages to standards
- Serve food such as cake, pastries, and sandwiches.
- Taking customer orders/payments using our EPOS system, in-person and over the phone (training offered)
- Servicing food to customers, eating in or takeaway.
- Assist with childrens parties and private events
- Able to generate ideas to drive sales or improve standards.
- Assisting with cleaning the soft play area and role play village, throughout the day as and when
- Maintaining a clean and sanitised working environment
- Maintaining Health & Safety standards.
- Attention to detail.
- Worked in a fast-paced coffee shop environment making smoothies, coffees, serving customers & maintaining food & cake displays
- Punctual and maintain regular and consistent attendance.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to meet hygiene standards.
- Be self-motivated and able to work under your own initiative
- Be able to work efficiently in a high pressured environment.
- Contribute to a positive work environment.
- Confident in using IT solutions, such as Tills and Booking Systems
- Ideally have a First Aid Certificate.
- Above all, have a smile

**Salary**: £6.00-£10.50 per hour

**Experience**:

- Barista experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
