Grounds Person

As a Gardens Worker Team Member I am responsible for:

- The park grounds being of the highest quality and standard for our guests.
- Providing a safe and secure environment for all guests through the maintenance of the park.
- Ensuring all work areas are presented and managed to the highest level at all times.
- Ensuring all internal & statutory obligations are met.
- Delivering a 'breath of fresh air' experience for our guests through the upkeep of beautiful grounds and gardens, contributing to guest advocacy and customer satisfaction.

Grounds worker duties:

- Advising Supervisor in a timely manner where other trades are required
- Working solely on certain tasks
- Working in partnership with other operatives to complete certain tasks
- Using lawn mowers, strimmer’s and brush/hedge cutters, ll petrol machinery
- Hard landscaping (block paving, patios)
- Ground care
- Keeping sites clean and free of litter
- Working in adverse weather conditions
- General tidying
- Loading / unloading vehicles

The following is optional but would be beneficial
- Spray Certificates
- Previous experience in a similar position
- willing to learn
- Full UK Driving License (essential)
- Own Transport
- Positive attitude
- Hard Working

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.42-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dawlish: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Hedgecutting: 1 year (preferred)
- Strimming: 1 year (preferred)
- Grass Cutting: 1 year (preferred)
