**The Role**

Williamson Park attracts over 500,000 visitors a year and is one of the North West’s premier tourist attractions as recognised by Visit England. Within the 54 acres of listed park and gardens are iconic buildings such as The Ashton Memorial, attractions and breath-taking views that attract visitors from across the UK.

The main visitor attraction on site is the Edwardian Butterfly House and Zoo. To maintain the facilities ever growing reputation we are looking for a dynamic and committed person to join our team.

The hours for this post are 37 hours per week, working on a shift rota basis including evenings, bank holidays and weekends. This post is based at Williamson Park. This is a **temporary role for 5 months, from January to May, however we would be able to accommodate someone to start sooner if possible.**

**It is stated as an essential criteria in the job description that in order to be considered for this vacancy, you must be able to demonstrate that you have experience working with animals or collections that include reptiles, invertebrates, butterflies and small mammals which includes callitrichids and meerkats**.

A current, full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
