My client is a well-established not-for-profit organisation based in the London area, looking for an interim Finance Officer on a 3-month temporary basis, with a strong opportunity to go permanent.

The main responsibilities of the Interim Finance Officer are:

- Managing a team of 5 including reviewing and authorising journals and analysis prepared by team members.
- Identifying errors and inconsistencies in General Ledger data and preparing correct journals.
- Ensure high-quality invoices are prepared efficiently and timetable all details as well as ensure VAT treatments are correct.
- Handling complex data from a variety of sources around the organisation and ensuring it is accurately inputted into the system.

My client is looking for:

- Experience in managing a team of at least two people.
- Excellent communication ability and strong excel skills.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment ideally in a not-for-profit organisation.
- An ability to maintain good working relationships within the organisation and external service providers.

My client can offer a flexible approach to working with one or two days in the office and the rest working remotely. There is also a strong opportunity to go permanent.
