Responsibilities include:

- To be responsible for testing fruit quality, both pre and post packing, and ensuring it adheres to customer specification.
- To conduct a series of tests for sugar levels, pressure, temperature and taste, using equipment, including FTA’s, Digital Refractometers and sizing rings.
- To accurately record all findings on Prophet and Greenlight.
- To check Shelf-life samples against customers specification. For eg for DU dates, best before dates, promotional labels and other required information deemed necessary for customers and sign off when correct along with quality aspects
- To ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
- To work closely with the QC team in the event that fruit tested/labels checked do not meet the required specification for the customer.
- To actively promote best practice in relation to Hygiene, Health & Safety standards and good housekeeping and support the Company’s efforts to minimize its environmental impact and adopt environmental best practice.
- To look to identify areas of improvement, opportunity and innovation and communicate these to the relevant personnel.
- To be able to collect fruit samples from all levels of racking on a Skyjack (Working at Height)

This role involves working Monday to Friday on our Evening Shift (18:00-02:30), 40 hours per week.

This is an hourly paid role, paid in monthly instalments.
