Childcare Practitioner

This post is for a Childcare Practitioner to work at Little Angels Nursery for 37.5 hours per week to meet the needs of our busy nursery

**Job Summary**

We are looking for enthusiastic staff who are eager to enhance children's interests and have an understanding of child initiated play.

Little Angels are committed to safeguarding children and will work cooperatively with other agencies to ensure that any risk to children we work with is acknowledged and responded to professionally and without delay. All staff are required to have a DBS which is updated every three years and full background checks are conducted on all employees.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

**Job title**: Supply Childcare Practitioner

**Purpose of post**
- To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children in the nursery
- To give support to other team members throughout the nursery
- To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn and develop

**Qualifications and Skills**

Level 3 in Childcare

**All applicants must hold a qualification that allows them to be counted in the childcare ratios. Please ensure your qualification is full and relevant before applying.**

**Salary**: £7.49-£10.42 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
