**OVERALL SUMMARY**
Join Close Brothers Brewery Rentals (CBBR) Team where you will take responsibility for all recoveries cases, working with customers to develop a rescue plan and ensuring the best outcome for all parties is achieved, working within the required standards according to CBBR procedures and by company policies.
The Credit Controller will create and maintain relationships with 3rd parties involved in the collection of arrears, repossession and disposal of assets, and work closely with CBBR outsourced legal support where required.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner, continually assessing and evaluating effectiveness and appropriateness of Collections procedures.
- Document and record all debtor/arrears cases in line with CBBR procedures.
- Communicate and update key stakeholders within CBBR of debtors/arrears cases including actions taken to address cases.
- Liaising with other parts of CBBR regarding customers and deals to safeguard company interests.
- Implement proactive strategies to ensure that arrears levels stay below budgeted volumes.
- Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.

- You have previous knowledge and experience in Credit/Debit Collection
- You're an open and effective communicator, able to build strong working relationships with peers and customers.
- You're able to work independently as well as part of a team
- You'll have a proactive mindset and strong initiative
- You are highly numerate with analytical ability
**IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU**:
- Have previous knowledge and experience in Asset Finance
- Are able to demonstrate strong information and communication technology skills
