MPI are assisting our Client with their permanent role on site at Bishops Stortford, for a Workshop inspector
Rate of pay is dependant on experience and starting in the region of £53,820.00 per annum
Role:
To ensure all "REPAIRED/INSPECTED" aircraft components and assemblies are repaired effectively IAW tech data and Planning.
Provide support and guidance to the Staff during the Manufacture/ Repair.
Perform effective incoming inspection of items received for repair, ensuring all defects are detailed in an accurate concise manner.
Liaise with planning to ensure the planning job card is accurate, concise and effective.
Ensure all paperwork is completed effectively (please note that the role entails a fair amount of Microsoft office and online maintenance data manuals).
Ideally our Client is looking for applicants to have the following:
- Maintenance data manual knowledge
A history of working on components (on aircraft is great but preferable is components)
A good knowledge and history of using Microsoft office
Component inspection history is highly desirable
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous Experience as a P21 and P145 Inspector (Desired)
- Previous Experience in EASA/CAA/FAA Release (Desired)
- Airframe Structures and mechanical systems Experience (Essential 5 Years)
- Good standard of written/ spoken English including the ability to interact at a technical level.
- Good Knowledge base of Aircraft Maintenance manuals and documents, with a preference to Boeing and Airbus.
- Computer literacy and experience with office base software. (required)
- Hold the right to work in the UK
