**Sport Lecturer Required - Bath**

- Thursday 08:30-17:00 Friday 08:30-16:30

Pay Rate: £24,358-£33,728

An opening has arisen for a Sport’s Lecturer to be based in Bath. Said individual will contribute to the Department’s aim to provide high quality learning and assist in the development, organisation and delivery of the curriculum area of the Department.
- Deliver departmental requirements of core and additional programmes including functional skills, work skills and tutoring
- Deliver on Level 1, 2, 3 and HE programmes as required by the demands of the curriculum including the Personal Training L3 programme
- Produce schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment plans, learning materials and any other related activities that impact on the effectiveness of learning
- Co-ordinate and maintain records of formative and summative assessments of students’ learning carried out by the course team
- Communicate external examination entry and timetable arrangements to the course team and students
- Work pro-actively to forward the success and vision of the department and the College
- Be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe working environment
- Observe and keep aware of Health and Safety documentation and procedures in line with College Policy
- Undertake classroom or workshop risk assessments if required
- Keep records and documentation and prepare appropriate reports
- GCSE (or equivalent)Maths and English at Grade C or above
- Full UK driving licence
- PT Qualifcation
- TAQA or Assessors / IQA Qualification
