Technical Advisor

The purpose of this role is to help ensure the clean delivery of projects from inception to delivery.

The role will involve working with the Senior Technical Advisors and Audio Coordinators and liaising with the account handlers and project managers to create an accurate booking on the system.

Working closely with the Senior Technical Advisors, the Technical Manager and the R&D team to innovate new products and streamline and standardize working practises.

To be a contact for the teams working in the field related to the technical part of the equipment.In collaboration with the warehouse, technical and service team, managing & providing on-site support in case of failure of equipment at the event.

Development, continually seeking ways to improve workflows for each department of the Live Production team. They will also help in the creation of internal policy documents including work instructions, project specific technical documents.

The role requires the incumbent to work flexibly, in a developing environment. In addition, the role may be required to assist, or cover for, other roles within the operation for which full training / support will be given.

**Function of role**
- Assist the Senior Technical Advisors to analyse the requirement from Customer/ live production sales and identify deliverables in terms of Customer Requirement.
- Assist with the design of solutions, in line with organizational Product and Solution Guidelines.
- Own the responsibility of the Technical Solution and associated costs.
- Support the solution till customer acceptance and Service Delivery process.
- Assist with the Compliance Process with structured review calls/ meetings with internal stakeholders like Operations, Legal and Finance
- Assist with the Solution Design Approval or Customer Bid Submissions to pre-defined and pre-agreed timescales
- Quality management of allocated solutions and bid proposals at both key submission points as well as through win/loss reviews
- Feedback into Technical team identifying where repeated bids for bespoke solutions could be converted into standardized products
- Booking and design upload for live production solution requirement.
- Assist with training of both staff and outside contractors.

**Customer and Relationship Management**
- Adhere to Solotech service standards.
- Handle all communication in accordance with Solotech core standards of behaviour.
- Liaise with 3rd Parties to provide support or handle queries.

**Financial Management**
- Identify ways to improve cost effectiveness and where appropriate, generate income.

**Qualifications**

Educational
- Educated to A level standard or equivalent.

Professional
- At least 2 years of experience working in a similar role
- Work Permit Requirement
- Right to work and remain in the UK
- Full clean UK driving license
