**Responsibilities**

**Clinical**:
As an NHS care assistant with Florence, you’ll:
Perform a full range of care assistant duties.

Assess and evaluate residents and care recipients.

Maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Monitor residents frequently when appropriate.

Document incidents in line with NHS and Florence policy.

Escalate concerns to your supervisor and/or Florence where required.

Recognise signs of deterioration in a resident or care recipient.

Welcome information technology and medical equipment training, which will help you maintain high care standards.

**Health and safety**:

**About you**

We’re looking for NHS care assistants with **at least six months** of care work experience, ideally in a health and social care setting. If you love to learn and have evidence of ongoing professional development, that’s a plus.

You’ll also have:

- The ability to take direction and work effectively under supervision.
- Safe, effective moving and handling skills.
- An in-depth understanding of the health and social care sector.
