Warehouse Administrator

**Salary**: £ 22K - £ 23K
**Hours**: Monday - Thursday 8.15am - 5.00 and Friday 8.15am - 12.45pm full-time role 37.5 hours per week
- Assist the Supervisor in organising the work flow whilst working alongside other members of the team
- Achieve daily productivity and turnaround targets
- Ensure the Warehouse Supervisor is notified of any potential problems in the sections
- Take responsibility for staff during the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor or on the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Ensure deliveries are booked in and processed in a timely manner
In the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor report directly to the Assistant Warehouse Manager
**Additional Tasks**
**Goods In/Quality Control**
- Deal with suppliers and delivery drivers in a polite and courteous manner
- Ensure priority stock within Quality Control takes precedence over other stock
- All incoming stock and literature to be inspected in accordance with section procedures and current quality standards
- All inspected goods must reconcile to the appropriate paperwork, with discrepancies and rejects clearly noted on the QC working docket
- Rejects are to be clearly labelled with the supplier code and placed in the holding area
- Help must be given to the Quality Control/Goods In Coordinator in maintaining a constant flow of work to the Quality Control Inspectors on a daily basis
- To provide cover for the internal mail run during absences,in accordance with the set times
**Stores**
- Ensure priority stock in Stores takes precedence over other stock
- Incoming stock and literature must reconcile to the QC working docket, before being located and updated on to the computer
- Picking must be dealt within date order,unless otherwise requested
- Maintain a constant flow of work through to Shipping,ensuring that picking reconciles to the Bill Of Materials sheet
- Stock Requisitions(including Staff Purchases and Trade Sales)and Stock Destruction Orders to be completed within the set timescale
General stock housekeeping and warehouse maintenance, including relocation of storage and packaging equipment
**Additional responsibilities**
- Any problems with equipment (pallet trucks,conveyor belts,etc.)should bereported to the Warehouse Supervisoror in their absence the Assistant Warehouse Manager
- To make yourself available to work overtime during peak periods
- Health And Safety guidelines are to be followed at all times,keeping walkways and working areas clear at all times
- You may be required to work in other sections/departments during staff absences and as the workload dictates
- Handle daily postages ubmissions toRoyal Mail and other carriers
