**Interim Gas Inspector - Housing**
**Reference no: Camden RQ819199**
**Pay Rate: £26.60 per hour PAYE **An opening for a Gas Inspector to join Camden’s M&E team and manage the quality control of our gas servicing, maintenance and new installs. This is a key role to ensure the borough’s compliance duties meet the requirement and plant is well maintained through our contracts to deliver a dependable service for our residents. Carry out inspections on gas servicing, new gas boiler installations and daily heating and hot water repairs. Ensure that all works undertaken are performed to a safe and high standard of reliability, professionalism and meet the needs of our residents.

**Qualifications**:

- ACS accredited Gas engineer with at least 10 years with the gas industry.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
- Widespread experience of the installation / maintenance requirements of various systems and have a thorough understanding of domestic and commercial gas regulations.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience of working in a similar post.
- Good understanding in contract management and delivering gas contracts with responsibilities to make certain the services are delivered well.
- Able of working across teams and with external suppliers to achieve the best outcome for the borough’s residents.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
