**And the role**

Joining us as Transport Planner in this flagship branch, you will assist the Transport Manager in the profitable and professional operation of all vehicles while building and maintaining successful working relationships with customers and staff to achievemaximum sales potential and customer service.

**Key Result Areas**
- Assist with the management of all aspects of driver performance
- Ensure driver and vehicle security at all times
- Ensure all customer sales and orders are processed
- Assist in the management of loading and unloading of deliveries
- Route vehicles and print delivery tickets
- Manage vehicle dispatch checks

**What we’re looking for**
- Previous sales/customer service experience is essential
- Proven supervisory skills are essential
- Fork lift experience desirable
- Knowledge of transport legislation desirable
- Excellent organisational skills, e.g. stock management etc.
- Excellent communication skills are essential
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation is essential
- An LGV (Class 2) licence is preferred as is a full, clean driving licence.
