Senior Planner

Provectus Recruitment have partnered with a multi-million-pound high-tech manufacturing business near Cambridge, that are leading the development and manufacture of specialist sensor-based instrumentation used for measurement of matter. This company workin a rapidly growing market, with a customer base that is spread across the world.

Due to business acquisition and continued growth, we are seeking a Senior Planner, that will be responsible for planning operations across a specific product line, that encompasses low volume, very complex systems, and instrumentation.

**Key Duties**

Reporting to the Planning Manager, the main responsibility of this role will be to oversee the entire planning operation of a specific product line within this manufacturing organisation.

The role will involve planning the manufacture of complex electro-mechanical systems and instruments (Circa 1500 units per year), including the planning of all ancillaries and associated parts.

You will work to create or oversee planning BOMS, enabling production & cost targets to be met.
- Ideally materials management experience in a multi-level BOM manufacturing environment
- Experience working in a planning environment that manufacturers complex systems with lots of parts.
- Experience within bigger complex electromechanical systems planning, as opposed to OEM planning.
- Experienced user of ERP and MRP systems
- Attention to detail.
- Strong analytical / problem solving skills.
- Self-motivated / Self starter
- Ability to work unsupervised.
