Primary Urgent Care Services in Ayrshire is delivered through the Ayrshire Urgent Care Service (AUCS). This provides out of hours social work and 24/7 urgent care provision incorporating a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, professionals and operational personnel. It also currently delivers COVID Therapeutic services in Ayrshire.

As such you will be responsible for the clinical assessment, differential diagnosis, advanced decision making including prescribing and the formulation of management plans or referral to other health care professionals when appropriate.

You will work closely with all team members within the Ayrshire Urgent Care Service and liaise with Acute Services, Scottish Ambulance Service, NHS 24, Community Nursing and other health and social care agencies.

You must be registered nurse with NMC, a qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner with a post grad qualification or equivalent in Advanced Practice or be able to evidence working at Advanced Practice Masters level. You will also have experience within an appropriate clinical environment and demonstrate experience of teaching/education of others.

You will be supported in your responsibility to continually review, develop and embed your skills in the provision of high quality services.

Experience within an appropriate clinical environment is essential and you will also demonstrate experience of developing and delivering innovative and creative nursing solutions to underpin service delivery.

Full driving licence and car driver is essential.
