Senior Facility Specialist - Compliance
£42,000-£50,000 Subject to experience
Location - Reading / Basingstoke Area
Closing date: 20/03/202
You will be required to support the Group leader Asset Operations Manager in maintaining the Site Safety Justification for Site.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to produce and maintain the Site Safety Justification (SSJ). Engage with various stakeholders for allocated facilities to ensure changes from Facility Safety Justification (FSJs) do not challenge the ALARP position of the (SSJ)
- Collate information and prepare regular Annual Reports as required.
- Ensure operators/residents/business users work within Safe Operating Envelope (SOE)/Safe Operating Boundaries (SOB), as defined by the SSJ.
- Ensure maintenance plans are created and maintenance is completed within required timescales on plant and equipment which support compliance with SSJ, safety claims.
- Ensure configuration changes to allocated facilities are assessed for impact to the SSJ and required changes are incorporated at the most appropriate time.
- Work with local facilities to ensure accuracy of Asset Portal Master Viewer pages and review local ACB changes and overarching changes which have been presented to ACB06 to assess the impact on the SSJ. Ensure changes are tracked and monitored through to completion.
- The Company may require you to fulfil any other reasonable duties aligned to your position from time to time in line with business needs.
- Provide intelligent customer oversight on changes to Security, Nuclear and EPR Baseline requirements (in compliance with the permits) to ensue alignment to the SSJ and Environmental Safety Case_._
- Management of Safety Documentation including SSJ/FSJ
- General management (business and people) to manage and resolve complex cross discipline, technical and organisational issues.
- Ability to identify problems, evaluate options and formulate effective process, system, and organisational solutions.
- Capable of maintaining a high degree of effectiveness in a multitask role, managing priorities and delivering to challenging timescales.
- Decision making skills that have either a high degree of complexity or diversity and takes prime responsibility.
- Team working.
- To have excellent communication, presentational and negotiation skills.
- Able to readily adapt and respond quickly to changing situations and the changing needs of others.
