**Electrical Service Engineer**

**Mid Kent**

**Salary**:£30-45K DOE (Neg) + on call + bens**

Fantastic new opportunity working as a customer facing Service Engineer for a market leading organisation who specialise in products servicing defence, military aerospace sectors.

You will be working in a collaborative team environment offering post-sale support to a large customer base. This will involve both on site installation, training, remote troubleshooting and general customer support as necessary as well as undertaking repairs.

**Responsibilities**
- Full troubleshooting and repair of at a complex and high level service of a range of products within the defence and aerospace sectors
- Carrying out upgrades
- Putting together detailed lesson plans in order to carry out effective training with customers
- Installation and training on site with customers - both domestic and international travel will be required once fully trained
- Analysing product failures, suggesting routes for continuous improvement
- Carrying out field based analysis and repairs
- Ensure site surveys are completed and all paperwork is collated accurately
- Proactively monitor types of faults and repairs for trends in equipment failure
- Daily use of SAP to determine maintenance and repair costs
- Operate out of hours call out function one week in six once fully trained
- Any other duties as required

**To be considered you will have/be**:

- A relevant qualification, ideally to Level 3 in Electronics - City and Guilds preferred
- A working knowledge of ITAR and other Export Control constraints
- Fluent in English
- Ideally working in a technical support environment within Engineering
- Strong Mechanical and Electrical ability
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills as this role is client facing
- A full driving licence
