We are looking to appoint a highly organised Ward Receptionist to work full time (37.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday on one of our inpatient wards within the Medicine & Emergency Care Division.

Ward Receptionists are responsible for ensuring patients are accurately and efficiently admitted and discharged from the ward. Applicants must have excellent organisational skills and be happy to work on a busy reception dealing with patients/relatives/doctors/nurses queries face to face and over the telephone.

To provide a comprehensive clerical co-ordination service and to receive patients across the divisions wards. To ensure that patients and visitors receive a friendly, customer focussed and efficient service. The post involves receiving and handling information which is confidential and therefore the post holder must maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
