**We have a fantastic opportunity in Peterborough for a Vehicle Prepper, you will be working within our busy Bodyshop team. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals with a self-motivating attitude, with an eye for detail and able to work as part of a team within a busy, fast-moving environment.**

Big Motoring World Group is an expanding car supermarket group that is going from strength to strength and is looking to employ a Vehicle Prepper at our National Preparation Site. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast and progressive moving group as well as working alongside experienced technicians to help and support.

**What we Offer**
- Work shift Pattern is 15:00pm - 01:00am (Monday - Thursday) and 15:00pm - 20:00pm (Friday)
- Contracted Hours: 42.5 hours per week
- Salary Base: £36,563 - 39,000 per annum (based on experience)
- Gaining experience from colleagues in a professional environment
- Excellent working and team environment
- Uniform given, heated workshop and parking on site

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Prepping vehicles prior to painting
- Masking vehicles prior to painting
- Minor filler work
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest quality standards
- Ensuring work areas and tools are kept tidy and in good working order
- Maintain high standards of house-keeping

**What we are looking for**
- Good communicative skills and ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
- Time management, planning skills and problem solving skills
- Prior experience of working to efficiency targets
- Systematic and organised; pays attention to the finer details
- Demonstrates an honest and diligent approach to work
- Ability to work as part of a Team
- Take pride and responsibility for your own appearance as well as the appearance and organisation of the site in which you work
- A full, valid UK driving licence is required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £36,563.00-£39,000.00 per year
