Horse Riding Instructor

We're looking for a part-time instructor to work at-least 3 days per week, including at-least 1 weekend. This opportunity is perfect for "Freelance instructors" who are looking for set contracted days.

**Working hours**:
Contracted days to be discuss with you individually, but at-least 1 weekend day will be required. Working hours are fixed, but flexible with choice
- Monday to Friday: _
7:30am - 6:00pm (30 minute breakfast break & 2 hour lunch)
**OR**
10:00am - 7:00pm (1 hour lunch break)
- Saturday to Sunday: _
7:00am to 5:00pm (30 minute breakfast break & 1 hour lunch)
**OR**
10:00am - 5:00pm (1 hour lunch break)
**About BRC**:
Berkshire Riding Centre is a "highly commended" BHS approved riding school, livery yard and BHS Where to Train centre based in Winkfield, Berkshire.
Since 1996, the centre has been successfully run by Tim Lord and Rosie Lord, Stage 5 Performance Coach in Complete Horsemanship (BHSI). The centre has 45 horses & ponies onsite ranging from 10hh to 17hh ranging from ex-polos to advanced school masters.
**About the job**:
- **Part-time (5 days) **position - including one weekend day
- **Teaching** - your main role will be teaching a variety of clients from children aged 4 to adults; you will teach scheduled private, semi-private, groups and activity lessons. (Types of lessons - Flat, Jump, Stable Management, Pony Club, XC - depending on qualifications)
- **Yard work** - You will support the grooms with daily yard activities when not giving lessons, this includes but not limited to morning & day mucking out, tacking up and tack cleaning
- **Riding** - Exercising and schooling riding school and livery horses/ponies, youngsters, horses/ponies coming back into work and competition horses
**About you**:
- Must have Equine Teaching Qualification - BHS Stage 2 Teach or above
- Valid UK Driver's License (Preferred but not required)
- You must have the right to work in the UK, as we are unable to sponsor work permits or visa for this role
**Accommodation is only available for full-time position**. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate for your own dogs to be onsite.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week
**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour
