BCU LHB are looking to appoint an MDT coordinator for their interstitial lung disease(ILD) multidisciplinary team(MDT). Whilst this post will be primarily based in the East at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. This post will provide the coordination for the ILD MDT services across North Wales. The role of the ILD Coordinator/Tracker is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the ILD Services Department, by collecting, recording, analysing, interpreting and reporting of statistical data required to monitor compliance with the Welsh Assembly Government and Respiratory Health Implementation Group, All Wales Standards and Service and Financial Framework annual targets.

The post holder will be an integral member of the MDT, co-ordinating, organising, attending and administering a monthly ILD MDT meeting for the whole of BCU. The ILD Coordinator/Tracker reviews the progress of suspected and confirmed ILD patients journey through the care pathway and core services such as health records, radiology, pathology and Tertiary Centre. This pathway is both within and external to the Organisation and includes liaison with the departments involved in providing care and core services, ensuring that planned patient treatment progresses smoothly and in a timely manner.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
