If you have some experience of raising quotes, the building maintenance industry, and have great admin skills we’d love to talk to you about our **Trainee Estimator** position in our HQ in Newton Abbot You’ll enjoy a role where attention to detail and working to exacting deadlines are the key to your success. Your excellent numeracy and literacy skills will be utilised every day as your work with the estimating team and heads of department with the production of quotes.
**About the job**
Your main estimating duties will include:
- Supporting our operations team with reactive uplift estimates, including information gathering, constructing quotes, and submitting to our clients
- Liaise with sub-contractors about estimates
- Assist with contract reviews to enable the renewal of existing PPM contracts
- Work with our clients to tailor estimates to their individual needs
- Assist, our operations team where required, with the mobilisation of works that you have estimated and had approved
- Utilise our CRM system to ensure estimate information is kept up to date and to ensure all estimates are completed in a timely manner
**About you**
- You’ll need some administration experience with a good working knowledge of IT systems including Outlook and Excel
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Be great at working to deadlines with strong attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills
- We’d really like you to have some experience working within property or facilities management
