**Job Description**:

The AECOM Assurance team seeks a highly motivated, self-starting individual to support the growing Assurance Consultancy Service Line. The role will encompass supporting the development of the AECOM Assurance team to assure, challenge and drive improvements to support audit and wider assurance delivery across major capital infrastructure projects. The role will primarily provide cost data analytical outputs to derive and steer commercial insights for the delivery of insights to inform the commercial decision-making process, whilst supporting the client with effective improvements to cost and supply chain performance.

**Competencies**:

- Experience in delivering cost and commercial assurance / audit activities within major capital infrastructure projects.
- Comfortable and experienced in analysing high volumes of data that are primarily excel driven and experience of different cost systems commonly used in the commercial infrastructure sector (particularly SAP).
- Ability to assess cost entitlement and accuracy.
- Ability to work autonomously and in fast-paced environment and able to adapt and meet challenges and key performance deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills required to communicate with a variety of stakeholders with varying levels of seniority.
- The ability to harvest, interrogate and manipulate large data sets in order to problem solve and produce positive outputs that can be used in the decision-making process.
- Strong report writing and presentation skills.

**Qualifications**:
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:

- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills. Power BI desirable but not essential.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Educated to degree level in either accountancy, quantity surveying or data analytics.
- Professional membership to RICS or ACCA/ACA is desirable but not essential.
