**Role Summary**:
Working in the Transmission department, this role is responsible for monitoring and ensuring quality standards across our broadcasting network of channels: Islam Channel and Islam Channel Urdu. You will liaise with production and other departments and prepare and manage playlists to ensure our content is transmitted as intended. You will also control and adjust incoming and outgoing broadcast signals to regulate sound volume, signal strength, and signal clarity.

**About you**:
Previous experience in the broadcasting area, ideally in transmission and ideally with live broadcasts
Have technical experience in operating various broadcast equipment, ideally Playbox automation systems
Have operational experience with broadcast automation systems
Experience with IQ Broadcast system (BARB and EPG) would be an advantage
Knowledge of encoding and file-based workflow
Understanding of various share storage (NAS)

The role will work on a shift basis rota
- Monday
- Sunday, Full time, Flexible hours to cover the broadcast schedules.
