Dementia Health Care Assistant

It is preferable for applicants to have a relevant NVQ or QCF qualification and to have completed the Care Certificate training. An NCFE Level 2 in Dementia is also a benefit.
The successful applicant will be expected to provide hands on personal care, emotional support and activities to service users, whilst meeting any other care needs they have with dignity and respect. A genuinely caring attitude is a must. Staff are expected to complete detailed daily notes about the work they have carried out so must have good written communication skills.
A normal shift pattern is 8am - 8pm 3 times a week with overtime available. PART TIME HOURS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE.
The successful applicant will also be expected to have a criminal records check (DBS) and be able to provide two references upon offer of the position.
