**Personal Tax Senior Job Vacancy**

Working closely with the Tax Director, you'll manage a significant portfolio or personal tax clients. Some assistance with compliance work will be required, however this isn't the main focus of the role.

You'll have the initiative to progress assignments autonomously with a strong commercial awareness, working to ensure client expectations, deadlines and budgets are being met. You'll also be a supportive mentor to junior staff during this exciting periodof growth for this highly regarded tax function.

**Job Purpose**
- Support a team of experienced tax accountants at a growing accountancy practice, working closely with the Tax Director.
- Support a significant portfolio of primarily personal tax clients.
- Review and prepare tax computations and workings.
- Provide support for some compliance work.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver sound technical knowledge.
- Be a supportive mentor for junior staff, demonstrating processes and knowledge sharing.
- Supporting business growth by identifying new business opportunities.
- Setting an example as a hands-on Manager.

**What are we looking for?**
- CTA qualified, or part-qualified, with tax experience within practice.
- Technically strong, with some compliance experience.
- Working knowledge of Iris software.
- Good people management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Sound attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Self-motivated and highly organised.
- A team player able to bring out the best in others.
- Constructive mentorship junior team members.
- Confident in networking, representing the firm in a professional manner.
