This role is based in our UK&I region.

As a Scrum Master you’ll organise and lead ceremonies, stand-ups and ensure best agile practices are being used by team as well engaging with Product Owners to reduce backlogs, mentoring team members and maintaining communications with stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- 2 to 3 years of Scrum Master experience - SAFe experience would be a plus.
- Desire to grow towards Project Management / Engineering Management position.
- Knowledge of multiple Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
- Ability to lead, coach and influence team in adopting the Lean Agile principles.
- Ability to ensure the correct use of Scrum/Kanban process.
- Ability to manage complex project(s) simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to foster strong collaboration among team members and help team remove impediments.
- Excellent communication in addition to collaboration, analytical and presentation skills; ability to synthesize complex data into actionable presentations / reports and communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients.
- Self-motivation, self-direction, organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality or timelines.
- Excellent verbal communication, influencing and facilitation skills.
- High level of credibility with executives and business partners; demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and drive to results.
- Strong JIRA & Confluence experience.
- Big picture thinking and commercial awareness.
- Strong reporting and metrics generation skills.
- Financial services experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create an environment which moves teams towards high performing Teams.
- Facilitate Agile Team ceremonies & practices.
- Work to remove impediments to the flow of value.
- Coach stakeholders in expectations from Lean Agile and Scrum Framework.
- Ensure key stakeholders are active in relevant ceremonies.
- Ensure the goals, scope and product domain are understood by everyone on the Agile Teams.
- Utilise techniques for effective Backlog and Program Increment Management.
- Help the Agile Team understand the need for clear and concise Team Backlog items.
- Understanding PI planning in an empirical environment.
- Work with the Product Owner and teams to ensure the Team Backlog is current and prioritized.
