This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing team. We are seeking someone to join the team who is confident in being the first point of contact for managers and employees on a variety of HR topics, which span the entire employee lifecycle including recruitment payroll, training, disciplinary, absence management, performance management and grievances.

As we are a small but busy department, you will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of activities but you will need to be flexible to take on some tasks that are not always HR related, as required. As this is a new business, you will have the opportunity to influence and support the company during a period of change, actively participating in the change management process from supporting culture change to implementing new HR systems.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Liaise with the Head of HR and the business area to achieve and develop the HR Strategy
- Organizing and maintaining personnel records
- Administration of payroll, pension, and benefits across the business
- Producing monthly HR metrics
- Advising and guiding managers and employees on a range of HR issues which will include the timely management of employee relations cases
- Supporting cultural change through guidance and advice to Line Managers
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key leaders
- With HR colleagues delivering people management training program
- Working closely with managers to ensure that the annual talent review is completed and calibrated

**Key Experience**

You will ideally be from a commercial environment working within a HR function with strong administration skills

You should have an understanding of financial processes and procedures as well as enjoy supporting the business through the use of data

Working knowledge of HR best practice and an understanding of practical employment law

***It would be desirable if you have experience working in an unionised environment

**You’ll need to show the following behaviours**:
