Tea Room Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for additional kitchen staff team member for our small family run tearoom.

You will be required to work both independently and as part of a small team you will be responsible for leading shifts and training other members of staff maintaining the highest of standards. You must be prepared to take on all aspects/roles when needed such as taking orders, making and serving drinks hot and cold, preparing hot and cold food for customers (mostly basic and can be easily learnt), serving as well as cleaning and other kitchen hygiene related duties. House keeping and updating all records as required etc.

**Responsibilities**:
Organising staff rotas when required

Ensuring the tearoom is presentable and clean at all times

Cashing up

Maintaining stock rotation

Help grow the business and assist in capitalising on seasonal key times of the year

Front of house duties

Kitchen duties

Keep stock and inventory diligent to minimize wastage

**Requirements**:
Previous relevant hospitality experience a benefit

Self motivation to work independently during the quite times yet organised and ability to remain calm, work fast during the busy times

Adapt to the changing demands

Attention to detail

Initiative and ownership

Must be able to drive we are not accessible via public transport and too far to make taxi's cost effective.

**Salary**: £8.80-£11.50 per hour
