An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Website Developer on behalf of our public sector client based in Barking. This is a permanent opportunity.

This is an opportunity to be part of an innovative cross functional team including content designers, user researchers and designers, business analysts and product owners. You would be fully responsible for the website performance and work closely with stakeholdersacross the business to drive website strategy.

Lead Drupal Developer with experience in v8 or v9 including JavaScript, PHP and RESTful API development.

Key duties will include:

- Support the CX Team's vision of the website by developing items within a product backlog to ensure stakeholder and user needs are always met whilst delivering BAU front line support to users
- Create new functionality, features and functions in a constant cycle of improvement by helping translate complex system offerings into tangible potential deliverables to the business with full impact considerations
- Regularly review metrics and proactively seek out new and improved data/mechanisms for visibility
- Software development quality assurance - follow team procedures and guidelines to ensure appropriate version control, documentation, testing and planning are in place and contribute to the delivery of summary documentation to ensure specifications and requirementsare available in enough detail to enable recovery plans if required
- Web development - resolving and monitoring website snags, building new functionality, website maintenance and understanding ongoing SEO (not specialist) and CMS
