**The Position**:
We are seeking a primary P.E & school sport coach to work 35 hours per week with experience of coaching sport to young people. Through PE & extra-curricular delivery in education settings you will lead and coach a variety of sports, working to our delivery standards whilst teaching the same children each term, progressing and assessing their skills. This role requires an individual who is confident, knowledgeable, and versatile with the ability to engage young people.

**Responsibilities**:
The specific duties of this post will include, though not be limited to:

- Deliver P.E lessons, enrichment programmes and a variety of extra-curicular sports to primary school aged pupils
- Be a role model and provide an exciting, structured learning experience
- Maintain high standards & knowledge
- Communicate improvements and be able to evaluate your own personal development
- Maintain positive relationships with prospective/existing clients
- Plan, deliver, evaluate and administrate lessons
- Occasional Project planning and delivery
- Occasional Resource Creation
- Follow department processes & procedures
- Achieve personal delivery targets
- Be versatile and committed to learning
- Be reliable, flexible and be willing to travel to various locations and settings as required

**Knowledge and Experience Requirements**:

- 1 years’ experience with children; teaching or voluntary - Desirable
- Hold a Level 2 qualification in their specialist sport - Desirable
- Ability to deliver 3 areas of the P.E curriculum to high standard working towards all areas (Games, Dance, Gymnastics, Athletics, OAA)
- GCSE Maths and English.
- First Aid and Child Protection Training - Desirable.
- Committed to continuous professional development and willingness to undertake training where necessary.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Ability to regularly travel within the local area.
- Full Driving Licence and own vehicle
