Production Planner

We currently have the exciting opportunity for a production planner to join our massively successful clients team based in Manchester.

The role will see you working closely with the operations managers, procurement team and the commercial team in order to schedule production and arrange work orders to meet customer demand, planning and maintaining stock levels to meet demand.

**Job description**
- Planning work orders to meet with changing customer demand, working closely with production to ensure demands are met.
- Planning and maintaining stock keeping units (SKU's)
- Running and managing of MPS/MRP systems.
- Running capacity planning for customer orders.
- Presenting production plans.
- Communicating production demands across departments.

**Required Skills**:

- MPS/MRP system experience
- Manufacturing and planning experience
- Strong communication and forward thinking skills
- Ability to report and present plans to the board.
