**Here is some general information about the role**:
**Salary Per Hour: £16**

**Shifts Available**:
**7:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday**

**7:30am to 12:30 pm Friday**

**Your Main Responsibilities**:

- Set and operate CNC lathes, some of which have live tooling
- Check and inspect own work using inspection equipment (Verniers, micrometres, SPG's and PPG's)
- In process inspection to ensure total process control is maintained
- Manufacture components from engineering drawings to the correct quality standards
- Ensure that information relating to the manufacturing process is accurately recorded, maintained and

updated to reflect current process on job cards
- Ensure that preventative machine maintenance schedules are strictly carried out
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment at all times

**Skills and experience required**:

- Level 3 engineering qualification or equivalent (indentures accepted)
- Aerospace industry experience desired
- Knowledge of Fanuc control systems
- Experience working with engineering drawings and work to instructions i.e. job cards
- Ability to set and operate different machine tools
- PC literate
