**Salary**: £19,000 per annum

Sensium Healthcare Ltd specialises in developing and manufacturing a discreet, wearable, wireless system for monitoring vital signs of patients outside of high acuity areas. The company is at the exciting phase of commercialisation and wishes to bring an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual on board to join our manufacturing team as a Production Operator.

This permanent position is ideally suited to someone with a keen eye for detail.

Based in our manufacturing facility in Abingdon, you will be responsible for assembling our medical devices, maintaining and completing manufacturing records, managing stock and supporting other departments in R&D and testing activities and logistics.

Key responsibilities
- Build and test products assemblies
- Complete and maintain manufacturing records (DHRs, Monitoring / Storage / Maintenance Logs, etc.)
- Suggest improvements and with change control processes
- Support implementation of engineering design changes
- Managing stock of production components and consumable items
- Support the Production Manager to ensure monthly production targets are met
- Support logistics in material preparation and material returns

Qualification & Skills
- Experienced in manual assembly processes requiring accuracy;
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well independently as well as with the team
- Experience in working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment

Beneficial
- Experience or awareness of working in a regulated industry (medical, aerospace, automotive)
- Experience in electromechanical product testing
- Experience in R&D and industrialisation/scale up
- Experience in production documentation updates

Person Specification
- Knowledge of MS office suite
- Understanding of assembly work, instruction, and test procedures
- Good eye for detail and manual dexterity
- Good time management
- High level of dependability in meeting deadlines
- Focus on quality
