Hotel Maintenance

We are looking for a skilled **Maintenance person** for the upkeep of the hotel & cottages complex (all within 4 miles radius). A maintenance person’s day-to-day job is extremely varied and could see you painting a wall one day and repairing a broken toilet the next. You will work alongside an other member of the Maintenance team as many work needed as a team to move large items or completing a bigger project, but most occasions will be carrying task on your own.

**Tasks will also include**:

- looking after the utilities - meter readings
- Changing light bulbs and ensuring other fixtures and fittings are in good working order
- Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc
- Minor plumbing and carpentry
- Clearing or cleaning general areas
- Rewiring, changing fuses, junction boxes etc.
- Maintaining property exterior through the different areas by painting, weed removal, collecting rubbish etc.
- General carpentry work
- Maintenance of hot tubs and spa's
- Painting, decorating & tiling.
- Assembling and Moving furniture

**Hours of work**:We are looking for someone to work Full-time 5 days a week, ideally working on Saturday and 4 days in the weekdays, with 2 days off, Hours from 8.30am to 5.30pm. You will be expected to work-on at times in emergencies, and we will pay extra if needed to come back to hotel late in the evening/weekend for call-outs.

**Rate of Pay**:To exceed minimum wages - Depending on experience and qualification

**Who we are looking for**:We are looking for somebody who has experience of performing a similar role. Ideally you will be a handy person or have worked in a particular trade previously. You will be a good communicator with a keen eye for detail and be customer focused at all times.
