Technical Team Support Officer

3 months - possible extension

£33.33 per hour PAYE

Our Care Connected (Part of the Sussex Health and Care Partnership Digital Programme) gives health and care professionals and local people in Sussex shared online access to records and data through three digital enabler projects:

- Plexus, an e-record platform for GPs, hospital and community teams
- My Health and Care Record, to help people stay well and manage a condition or treatment
- Sussex Integrated Dataset, used to analyse how local health and care services can be better designed and run

**The successful post applicant will be responsible for**:

- Scheduling regular meetings and recording decisions on behalf of the technical team
- Supporting the technical team to break projects into tasks and setting timeframes and goals with a focus on tracking progress, blockers and milestones and ensuring updates are shared with the relevant stakeholders
- Preparing governance documentation for internal teams and key stakeholders ensuring data is accurate and on time
- Implementing the directions of senior management and following actions through to completion
- Supporting the Technical team by holding regular 121's with developers and tracking progress updates
- Regularly updating MS Dev Ops on behalf of the technical team
- Creation and production of a weekly highlight report for the technical team on progress and challenges
- Prompting the technical team on new risks and issues, ensuring they are raised in the appropriate way and highlighted to the Technical Manager
- Chasing actions and updates to ensure work is delivered to time. Spotting issues and escalating accordingly
- Supporting the on-boarding of new partners using Plexus by gathering information needed from Delivery Managers and tracking to completion, keeping people informed throughout the process
- Supporting co-design activities by acting as an interface between the technical team and other teams on the programme
- Chairing and recording a weekly technical team meeting to ensure there is clear sight on the roadmap of work and that new issues are raised and then shared with the Technical Manager

**Essential skills and experience**:

- Work experience as a lead project co-ordinator/ junior project manager or a similar role with a clear aptitude for organisation and prioritisation
- High degree of computer literacy including advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite - especially MS Excel, Word and Teams
- Knowledge of MS Dev Ops would be an advantage
- Hands-on experience with flowcharts, technical documentation and schedules
- Solid organisation and time-management skills
- Team spirit, professional, organised
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines whilst preserving high levels of accuracy
- Good interpersonal, oral and written skills and the ability to relate to a wide variety of people
- Experience of managing risks and issues
