**About the role**

Working primarily at The Beacon, at the heart of North Prospect, a Neighbourhood Ranger - The Beacon is a member of the Commercial and Leasehold team who helps to deliver a seamless and efficient service, whilst being responsible for ensuring that the organisation’s standards are met.

The Neighbourhood Ranger - The Beacon undertakes a wide range of duties including caretaking and cleaning services, grounds maintenance, moving furniture, setting up meeting rooms, as well as providing a great service to customers. Liaising with residents, customers, neighbourhood housing staff, the commercial and leasehold team and other members of the organisation will also be required. They are responsible for ensuring that our neighbourhoods are safe for customers and that the organisation complies with health and safety best practice and legislation.
- Has experience of caretaking and / or cleaning duties and / or grounds maintenance services
- Has a commitment to a high standard of service delivery and customer care
- Can deliver a high standard of service and customer care
- Can work on their own initiative, prioritising own workload to meet targets and deadlines
- Can use their own initiative to solve minor unexpected situations and problems
- Understands health and safety at work
