**The Role of the Field Service Engineer**:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be based from home. You will be servicing, repairing, maintaining and installing a range of strapping machines used within various industries such as food, construction, pharma, and distribution found at the end of theproduction or packaging line. Each day, you will be visiting a range of well-known and prestigious clients. You will encounter mechanical and electrical faults, which you will be required to amend and fix. You will receive in-house manufacturers training onthe strapping machines and all the tools for the job. This role is a multi-skilled role.
- Hold a formal engineering qualification such as City and Guilds or NVQ OR an electrical qualification
- You'll have previous field service engineering experience or have been an engineer within the military
- Multiskilled background; a 70% mechanical bias but electrical experience is essential.
- Understanding of PLC fault finding (training can be provided)
- Able to fault find and fix mechanical and electrical systems
- Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
