The Operations Team in the Ophthalmology Department are seek an enthusiastic and organised Senior Administrator to support the management team and lead the clinical admin team.

This post involves diary management, supporting the consultants and team, line management and ad hoc project support work.

You will prepare power point slides and pull data for the Operations Manager and Deputy Operations Manager including administration of senior meetings. You will be supported in your role to line manage staff and provide improved administrative processes to support our patients.

Main duties of the job

To work under own initiative and unsupervised for the provision of a high quality and comprehensive personal assistant service to the Ophthalmology Department. This includes providing administrative support to the Clinical Lead, Senior Clinical Nurse, Operations Manager, Deputy Operations Manager and Directorate Support Manager. You will have line management responsibility for the Ophthalmology Secretariat.
