**Job Description/Responsibilities**:
Our shopkeeper will be responsible for the following duties:

- Planning the range of products and setting profit margins;
- Ordering stock from wholesalers, manufacturers, sales representatives, agents and importers;
- Managing staff, including recruiting, training and staff rota's;
- Monitoring stock levels and product performance;
- Setting sales targets;
- Dealing with customers and providing a high level of customer service;
- Merchandising stock and implementing local marketing activity;
- Introducing standards for security, and ensuring that trading standards and health and safety regulations are met and
- Keeping abreast of changes to the industry and market competition.

Above all, the shopkeeper will work within our organisation’s objectives and plan. He/she will track our business records and adjust business strategies accordingly.

**Educational Qualification**:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

**Experience**

Our prospective employee should have at least three years practical experience as a restaurant manager. Industry-specific academic qualifications will be considered as an added experience.

**Working Hours**: 39 hours per week.

**Salary**: £27,500 per year.
