The role is to head up fund raising for Cambridge Online, the leading frontline digital inclusion charity, operating in the Cambridge area. Cambridge Online was founded 25 years ago and enables people - the disadvantaged, those with disabilities and those without - to get online by providing equipment and digital skills training. The charity has a small team of staff and over 70 volunteers.
- Identify new funding sources
- Develop and maintain relationships with funders and potential donors
- Manage a pipeline of prospective funding
- Be part of developing services and projects in conjunction with front line management and secure funding for those activities.
- Experience of writing and submitting fundraising proposals
- Passionate approach to meeting business objectives
- Experienced in the Business, Public and/or Voluntary sector
- Confidence in the use of IT
- Be extremely well organized and reliable
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in conducting research, both online and offline
- Good personnel skills
