OWM are the global authority on potable and drinking water issues in remote environments. We operate globally 365 days a year, 24hrs a day.
OWM provide technical and engineering support to offshore and marine assets for all aspects of Potable Water Management and Treatment.
OWM are looking for a highly energetic individual to join our team of samplers. Our Samplers are required to visit many different types of sites to collect chemical and bacteriological samples, with a large majority of the sampling involving visits to offshore supply vessels whilst in port.
This position offers full training. No previous experience of water sampling is required, however it would be advantageous if you have had water sampling experience previously. This is an excellent entry level opportunity to begin a career in the Offshore Energy and Marine sector.
Role Outline
- Communicating with clients and arranging site visits
- Carry out water & fuel sampling
- Carry out temperature checks and other onsite forms of testing.
- Completing associated documentation
- Document site visits and take notes
- Conform to various site specific HSE requirements
- Sending out sample analysis reports
- Logging data into various systems
- Shift work rota
- Out of hours on-call cover (on rota)

- Clear, concise and professional communication skills and manner
- Confident, hard working individual with a good work ethic
- Hands on approach to any task
- Methodical conscientious approach
- Ability to work alone and problem solve
- Willingness to work as part of a busy team
- Hygiene Awareness
- Responsive to change
- Flexible on working hours
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office - Outlook & Excel
- Clean driving licence
- Passport advantageous
- Excellent spoken and written English
Pay: £25,500.00 per year
