SF Recruitment are working with a business based in Coventry who are looking for a Bid Writer
Salary - £35K - £37k
Role
Delivery
- Produce visually impactful professionally looking proposals that capture the win themes and articulates the companies value proposition
- Lead on and co-ordinate input and responses for PQQs and RFIs
- Support storyboard sessions with wider bid team members to develop coherent and tailored responses
- Identify and re-work existing pre-written content in line with specific questions and bespoke to individual client requirements
- Produce bespoke copy writing in line with client requirements
- Re-write / edit proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, operations, commercial, legal, HR and finance
- Deliver completed written proposal responses to the Commercial Manager against agreed deadlines
- Salesforce administration
- Develop innovative ways of sharing and presenting information and involve the team in the change process
- Administrative Support for maintenance of bid submission records, procurement portals and reporting
Collaboration
- Work with sales colleagues to identify industry trends and potential opportunities
- Collect and coordinate internal knowledge (from sales and operational colleagues) about customers, competitors and industry
Empowerment

- Circulate information and findings about customers, competitors, innovations and industry to sales colleagues and senior management
Moving Forward
- Suggest improvements and new ideas

Required
- Educated to a Degree Level or have a professional writing background
- Experience in the production of proposals/bids for formal RFQ's / ITT's
- Have the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and communicate and influence at senior levels
- Experience of CRM systems (ideally Salesforce)
- Experience of working within the manufacturing or other B2B service sector
- Experience in the production of marketing and sales collateral
