**JOB DESCRIPTION**

As the Operations Manager, you will lead and develop our Financial Analyst team, working to best practices and achieving targets to ensure we meet our targets and goals. You'll work closely with our Financial Analysts ensuring quality and purpose throughoutthe team, ensuring our service delivery is of a consistently high standard and meeting SLA week on week.

**THE ROLE**

As our Service and Operations Manager, you will:

- Build, develop and optimise the operational capability and team outputs in our Edinburgh based team.
- Ensure maximum productivity and performance within the team by continually monitoring performance against targets and partnering with our Talent and Engagement Manager and the end Client to propose creative solutions to challenges.
- Drive team members KPI's and be responsible for overall SLA's.
- Ensure quality control of team's outputs.
- Focus on continuous improvements and efficiencies within existing processes and best practices
- Promptly tackle any concerns or issues, ensure a robust support structure is in place for the team
- Proactively working with our partners and stakeholders to build relationships, support and provide solutions.
- Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly to reporting to our Stakeholders. Be key point of contact for all operational queries with 3rd party stakeholders.
- Ensure the onboarding and training of our Analysts is as efficient as possible and continuous development is built into this process.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

To succeed in this role, you need to be target-driven, flexible, and self-motivated, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, challenging team environment. You'll have a mix of strategic leadership thinking and day to day team managementand operational improvement thinking along with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with our partners and customers and well as your team members.

Additionally, a strong background in people management with proven experience developing and supporting teams to achieve shared goals is essential; you need to understand the importance of leading a team, ensuring each member of your team is well-supportedand can be the best they can be. You'll be a natural coach to your team and take a solutions-driven approach to solve problems.

**YOU MUST**:

- Have experience in Operations or Team Management.
- Have experience driving and meeting KPI's and SLA's.
- Have experience in 3rd party stakeholder engagement.
- Exceptional time management skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Be comfortable solving and implementing solutions to complex problems
- Be comfortable efficiently identifying inefficiencies and implementing best practices.
- Comfortable with change and able to balance competing demands and priorities.
