**The Team**
An amazing opportunity has arisen for a highly organised communicator to join the Retail Health & Safety team based in Poole, Dorset.
**The Role**:
The Health and Safety Support person will play a critical role within the team by helping to deliver training programs to enhance the health and safety knowledge and practices within the company.
You will work closely with the rest of the team and other departments to ensure compliance with all safety regulations, as well as fostering a culture of safety within our workplace. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Organise health and safety training sessions for employees at various levels and maintain accurate records.
- Provide assistance with compliance monitoring, organising remedial work and updating records.
- Visit stores to carry out audits and support the shop teams with follow up actions.
- Gather feedback from teams to continuously improve training programs and materials.
- Actively promote a culture of safety, providing guidance and support to employees on safety best practices.
- Prepare and distribute reports on training activities and compliance status as required.
- Providing 5* customer service to the stores
**Role Responsibilities**:
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices would be preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willing to travel.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
