CNC Operator and Exhibition/shopfit Joiner

Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine machine setup and specifications
- Load materials into the machine and adjust machine settings to ensure proper cutting, shaping, and finishing of parts
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Skills**:

- Proficient in electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Skilled in carpentry, including measuring, cutting, and installing materials
- Capable of heavy lifting and operating machinery safely
- Experience in fabricating metal components
- Familiarity with Exhibition/POS/Shop fitting techniques and materials
- Proficient in painting and finishing surfaces
- Ability to assemble components according to specifications
- Knowledge of various hand tools and their proper use
- Onsite experience at Exhibitions and shop fitting

**Job Type**: Freelance

**Salary**: £14.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week

- Joinery: 2 years (required)
- Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
- Shopfitting/Trade Show Install: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (preferred)
- Driving Licence (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Aberford, LS25 2DA: Relocate before starting work (required)
