This is an exciting opportunity for a Stores Person to join an established business offering a varied role with fresh challenges and a rewarding career path.
Based in Boston Lincolnshire, this business designs and manufactures heavy duty machinery for the growing international pipeline and cable trenching industries. The bespoke machines can weigh over 80 tonnes and use high horsepower diesel engines to power ahydrostatic drive system with intelligent machine management and control systems.
As a Stores Person you will join a busy logístical department which supports the manufacturing workshop and customers, both here in the UK and globally.Everyday tasks will include accounting for spares and equipment via a windows-based IT program, receivinggoods, dispatching goods and stocktaking. Once established there will be an opportunity for future training relevant to your role in the Logistics Department. You will very quickly become an integral part of the team to ensure that the right part is in theright place at the right time.
Ideally with a background in engineering or manufacturing, you will be enthusiastic, methodical, reliable, and have excellent attention to detail.In addition, you’ll need the following skills and experience:

- Experience of handling goods in / goods out within a busy parts department.
- Competent IT knowledge and experience, especially with Microsoft Office programs.
- Detailed and accurate approach to documentation.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Fork lift licence is desirable.

The ability to learn new skills is also important and extensive on-the-job training will be given from the start for the right person.
